Radio Sales Jobs Description
Radio sales entail revenue generation and business development activities for the radio station. The job involves nurturing meaningful relationships with existing clients and developing a new advertising client base.
A radio sales job executive is responsible for developing, closing and maintaining advertising accounts for radio station. The salesperson may try to generate revenue by selling various advertising tools like on-air promotions, radio advertising packages and sponsorships of programs. Growing and developing new advertising briefs in an effective and timely manner may also be part of the job. Other duties include preparing and doing follow up on media schedules, production briefs, proposals, developing and completing all advertising and pricing documentation, and sales reports.
For a radio sales job, an associate degree is desirable but not required. Prior media sales experience is an advantage. Additionally, the applicant must also possess good presentation, negotiation, organizational and communication skills. Click here to send your resume.
